The Times becomes media partner for Scottish Legal Awards
The Times Scotland has signed a three year media partnership with the Scottish Legal Awards, the annual event to recognise the best of the Scottish legal profession.
To date the Scotsman newspaper has partnered the awards, but today's announcement comes after The Times Scotland overtook The Scotsman for the first time in last month’s six monthly circulation figures.
Editor Magnus Llewellin commented: “The Times Scotland goes from strength to strength as it expands its coverage of current affairs, business news and analysis. Coupled with our commitment to build on our excellent legal coverage, this makes us the ideal partner for The Scottish Legal Awards. I’m delighted to have been invited onto this year’s judging panel and look forward to working with the awards team.”
Kirsten Speirs, director of KDMedia which operates the awards, added: “The Scottish Legal Awards is now the largest legal event in Scotland. We are looking forward to working with The Times to highlight the exceptional work of individuals, teams and firms at the forefront of Scottish law.”
