Thompsons announce associate promotions

Two solicitors have been promoted to associate at Thompsons, the law firm has announced.

David Martyn in the employment department, and Roz Galloway in the Aberdeen office, have made the step up. Both began their careers as trainees with Thompsons.

Partner Wendy Durie said the promotions were very well deserved and testament to the firm’s policy of nurturing and rewarding talent and hard work. She commented: “The partners have been very impressed by the level of commitment and ability shown by both Roz and David. David’s recent high profile work on the holiday pay ruling is a very good example of why his promotion is richly deserved. In addition Roz has excelled in her role at our Aberdeen office in particular in dealing with offshore and asbestos cases.”
