Thorntons appoints immigration associate

Legal firm Thorntons has appointed Gurjit Pall as an associate in its Immigration team.

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2014, Mr Pall has worked exclusively in this field, and now has extensive experience advising businesses, individual and family clients in all aspects of UK Immigration. He joins from an in-house position at Five Star International Ltd, where he worked for a year having previously been head of Immigration and Asylum at solicitors Livingstone Brown.

Able to converse in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, he has a keen interest in human rights law and EEA Regulations with a particular focus on Brexit issues. He was given a “One to Watch” Award in 2017 by the Scottish Asian Business Awards.
