Thorntons signs up property consultant

Legal firm Thorntons has appointed residential and commercial property solicitor Derek Petrie as a consultant.

With more than 21 years’ experience in the profession, Mr Petrie has a particular interest in acting for housebuilders and dealing with all aspects of new development work.

He first became a partner in 2001 at Shield & Kyd in Dundee before it merged with Edinburgh firm Lindsays in 2012, where he remained as a partner until early 2018.
