Three members in two-way contest for in-house convenership
Voting for the next In-house Lawyers Committee convener is now open to the Law Society of Scotland's in-house members.
In a two-way contest, Graeme McWilliams of Standard Life is standing against RAF officer Allan Steele and Andy Todd of housebuilder Springfield Properties, who are jointly nominated as co-conveners.
Serving a three year term, the ILC convener has an important role in leading and supporting in-house solicitors, and also represents them on the Society's Council.
All in-house members are eligible to vote. A statement from each candidate is available on the Society's website.
Online voting opened at 12 noon today, 13 June, and closes at 12 noon on Friday 1 July 2016.
