Three more awarded Signet Accreditation

29th January 2015 | education-training

Three promising young lawyers have been awarded the Signet Accreditation, the programme of post-qualification accreditation for Scottish solicitors administered by The WS Society.

Greg Flett of Davidson Chalmers LLP, Emma Harris of Eversheds LLP, and freelance solicitor Nicole Hatch WS were presented their awards by the chair of the Signet Accreditation board, Lord Cullen of Whitekirk, at a ceremony at the Signet Library earlier this week. All three have been accredited in commercial litigation.

The programme, which has now been running for eight years, is designed to test not only technical legal knowledge in the chosen practice area, but also skills that are vital for overall effectiveness from a client perspective. These include communication, commercial awareness, relevant non-legal knowledge and insight.

For further information on Signet Accreditation, phone 0131 220 3249 or email manager@thesignetaccreditation.co.uk.
