Three promotions at Lindsays as two re-elected to board

11th April 2019 | careers , practice management

Solicitor firm Lindsays has announced three promotions, along with the re-election of chairman Peter Tweedie and board member Susan Law.

Lynsey Kerr in the Private Client team has been promoted to partner, Kirsty Cooper in Residential Property has been promoted to director, and Darren Lightfoot (Commercial Property) has been promoted to associate.

Corporate lawyer Mr Tweedie will serve a further three years as chairman, while Ms Law, who works in commercial property, has a further two year term.

Alasdair Cummings, Lindsays’ Managing Partner, commented: "This has been another very solid year for our firm. Our strength lies in our breadth, and has done throughout the turbulence of the last decade or so. With such a wide range of legal services for people and businesses, we can withstand sectoral difficulties and continue our positive journey.

"Most importantly, another strong year allows us to invest in our key asset – our people. We want to encourage new talent to come to us, and we want to reward the great people we have. The promotions of Lynsey, Kirsty and Darren, and the re-elections of Susan and Peter, are recognition of their exceptional talents."
