Two partners head Anderson Strathern promotions round

30th November 2016 | careers

Legal firm Anderson Strathern has announced further partner and other promotions across the practice.

Douglas McLachlan, an accredited specialist in public procurement law who joined Anderson Strathern from DWF in 2015 and whose expertise also includes IP/IT and competition law, becomes a partner, following the promotion earlier this month of Martin Campbell, head of the firm’s specialist tax practice.

Advancing from associate to senior associate are Margaret Coady and Jon McGee (both in commercial real estate), and Gary Burton, Tom Docherty and Dominic Scullion (all in dispute resolution).

Sophie Noble (Rural), Scott Flannigan and Natalie McCartney (both dispute resolution) are promoted from senior solicitor to associate; and promoted from solicitor to senior solicitor are Ailidh Callander and Lindsay Robertson (both dispute resolution), Mandy Armstrong and Robin Turnbull (both employment), and Jane Pendry (commercial real estate).

Private client team promotions were announced earlier this month (click here for report).

Three trainees have also been taken on as solicitors in the firm: Tom Croy (corporate), Geum Chrystal (rural) and Katie Kearney (dispute resolution).

Managing partner Murray McCall commented: “I’d like to offer my warm congratulations not only to Douglas and Martin, but also to all our colleagues who have been promoted and wish them continued success in their new roles. The promotions are well deserved and demonstrate the strength of the firm.”
