Two sheriffs appointed to All Scotland PI Court
Two sheriffs have been appointed as specialists to hear cases in the All Scotland Personal Injury Court.
Sheriff Robert Fife and Sheriff Robert Weir QC have been designated by Sheriff Principal Mhairi Stephen QC, Sheriff Principal of Lothian & Borders, to hear personal injury cases in the national court located at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
They bring the number of designated sheriffs back to the original six. The other sheriffs currently designated as specialist sheriffs in the court are Sheriff Peter Braid, Sheriff Gordon Liddle, Sheriff Kenneth McGowan and Sheriff Fiona Reith QC.
