Watermans to support Air Ambulance charity through motorcycle claim wins
Watermans Solicitors is to support the Scotland Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), through a donation programme linked to successful compensation claims arising from motorcycle accidents.
For every successful motorbike personal injury compensation claims that Watermans pursues, the firm will make a donation to SCAA.
Watermans began supporting the charity in 2017, and sponsors Scotty, SCAA’s eight-foot paramedic mascot, who represents SCAA at events across Scotland.
Nick Harvey, Director of Fundraising and Communications at SCAA, said: "As Scotland’s only air ambulance charity, we rely solely on donations and therefore we also appreciate the gesture of the donation programme which will further help our cause."
Scott Whyte, managing director of Watermans added: "This partnership means we will be able to support both SCAA’s vital work and Scotland’s motorcycle community on an ongoing basis. For those who are injured on Scotland’s roads while out on a motorcycle, SCAA can be quite literally a life saving service."
Watermans is also long-term sponsor of Lochend Boxing Club in Edinburgh and the TCCL Lodge in St Andrews, which provides families affected by childhood cancer and leukaemia.
