Wernham to head CMS in Scotland
International law firm CMS has announced the appointment of Allan Wernham as its managing director in Scotland, taking lead responsibility for the firm’s offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen and their more than 350 staff and partners.
A partner and real estate specialist based in the firm’s Glasgow office, Mr Wernham was the managing partner of Dundas & Wilson before it merged with CMS in 2014. With over 20 years’ experience, he is dually qualified to practise in Scotland and England & Wales.
He takes on his new role from Caryn Penley, who has been appointed to a global position as CMS UK’s joint managing director of Asia and Middle East.
