WJM announces further partner promotion

29th March 2016 | careers

Legal firm Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie has promoted Graham Murray to partner.

Mr Murray is one of the few solicitors in Scotland to hold the qualification of chartered financial planner. He provides advice on investments, retirement planning, tax and estate planning, business succession planning, as well as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. He is also a qualified trust and estate practitioner; investment portfolio clients include charities and third sector organisations.

He first joined WJM in 2001 as a trainee and has made his career with the firm’s private client team since qualifying in 2003.

Chief executive Liam Entwistle commented: “Graham is the first partner to be promoted from our Senior Associate career path. It’s vital that we provide all of our people with clear routes of advancement in terms of skill, qualifications and position, and so we work hard on that. It also reflects the strong growth of WJM’s in house Wealth Planning team of which Graham is part.”

WJM currently has 23 partners and employs 90 people across its offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.
