Young lawyer scholarship competition open for IBA Sydney conference
A total of 23 prize scholarships are available to young lawyers interested in attending the 2017 IBA annual conference in Sydney.
The scholarships are awarded through an essay competition, with themes to match the various committees and sections of the IBA. Applicants can only enter for one scholarship.
Last year Scottish lawyer John Morgan attended the Washington DC conference through such a scholarship (click here for his article about the conference).
The competition is open to those who will be aged 35 or under at the date of the conference (8-13 October 2017). The prize includes a contribution towards travel costs. Essays submitted should be between 2,500 and 2,800 words. The deadline is Sunday 7 May.
