Council representative for Scottish solicitors outside the UK and International Committee Ex Officio Member

Alexia Maas is an international business lawyer and strategist and serves on the International Committee as she was elected to the Council of the Law Society of Scotland to represent solicitors practising outside the UK in 2025. Alexia is dual‑qualified in Scotland and New York and has held senior executive roles, including over a decade as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of a global financial services organisation. In addition to her Council work, she actively supports the Society’s international policy initiatives, trade engagement, and rule‑of‑law advocacy
