Beatrice joined the Law Society of Scotland’s Council in June 2022 for Glasgow and Strathkelvin.

Beatrice Nicholas is a Solicitor, based in Glasgow for over 27 years. Being an advocate for those in need of a Solicitor, as well as a fundraiser for various communities and charities. Her main area of practice is Criminal Law, Business Law, Company Law & EU law in relation to EU citizens status and work settlement in the United Kingdom.

Beatrice continuous to evolve with the law and the changes that take place in the judicial system meeting the needs of those that instruct her.

As a multi linguist this gives her a significant advantage in understanding the cultural, mentality and judicial challenges within wider communities. Her multiple ethnicities along with her strong leadership and communication skills, has led her to being appointed to senior positions within Embassy’s in the United Kingdom.

Away from law Beatrice is passionate about Hospices of Hope's work in Southeast Europe, and as well as being a dedicated fundraiser for several charities. Over the years Beatrice has been instrumental in introducing Hospices of Hope to the West of Scotland.

Beatrice is a member of Glasgow Bar Association and Committee Councillor of the Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow.
