Beth Anderson

Head of Member Engagement

Beth joined the Law Society in December 2015 as Head of Engagement for In-house Lawyers. In 2021 she took on the broader role of Head of Member Engagement.

Beth and the member engagement team provide support to solicitors through building and maintaining key relationships across the Society’s different membership groups and by delivering a varied range of outreach events. This helps to ensure that the Society understands the challenges facing the legal profession and the effectiveness of our work.

She is also secretary to the In-house Lawyers Committee and the Sustainability Committee and provides support to the Lawscot Tech Advisory Board.

Beth trained as a solicitor at Biggart Baillie LLP. She qualified in 2008 into the commercial property team. In 2011 Beth moved to Hong Kong where she worked in an in-house legal role for Asian based conglomerate, Jardine Matheson.
