David Smith

David specialises in charity law and his principal areas of expertise include advising clients on charity incorporation and re-structuring, governance and constitutional change. He also assists with wider governance matters including trustees’ duties and compliance with the Equality Act 2010. As part of his role in the Charity Law team, David shadowed the Trustees of the National Trust for Scotland and therefore understand the perspective of those to whom he is advising.
