Debbie McCathie

Debbie has specialised in residential conveyancing for the past 20 years and now heads up one of the largest residential departments in the country.  Debbie’s team operate throughout all of her firm’s locations in Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, East Lothian, Dundee, Aberdeen and Galashiels. Debbie is also heavily involved in the management of a large conveyancing team based in Lincoln, England.

Over the years, Debbie has built up strong working relationships with housebuilders, mortgage advisers and nationwide estate agents resulting in her department receiving thousands of conveyancing instructions annually.

Debbie’s focus is on managing a high volume of conveyancing transactions whilst maintaining the ability to deliver a very personal service for every client. Debbie and her Conveyancing Management Team continue to work on the development of a bespoke Case Management System which allows her department to deliver their service efficiently, whilst maximising on client service.

Debbie has previously tutored on the Diploma in Legal Practice at Edinburgh University and is now applying those skills in the development of a Conveyancing Academy for junior members of her team who wish to progress towards a paralegal role.
