Debbie Reekie

Senior Associate and Solicitor Advocate
Brodies LLP

An excellent litigator and solicitor advocate, Debbie is experienced in dealing with all aspects of family law including financial provision on separation and divorce, cohabitation cases, prenuptial agreements and child law.

While experienced in both the Court of Session and the sheriff court, Debbie seeks to resolve as many cases as possible through negotiation in order to reduce the stress and uncertainty that court actions can bring. An accredited specialist in family law, Debbie is also a trained collaborative lawyer and accredited mediator. Her previous experience as a criminal defence agent makes her exceptionally well placed to provide expert advice to those who find themselves in that situation regarding family law, such as domestic abuse.
