Emma Cairns

Emma’s career in financial crime prevention started in a large corporate legal firm, where she spent 16 years in an AML role. After working within the legal industry, Emma spent over seven years working in an economic crime prevention role within the financial sector. Emma then decided to rejoin the legal industry and took up a role with a private client firm in an AML role, spending just over a year there prior to joining the Law Society of Scotland in May 2023.
