Iain Burke is the Law Society's Council representative for the Duns, Haddington, Jedburgh, Peebles & Selkirk constituency. After serving on Council from 2015-2018, Iain was re-appointed to Council in May of 2024.

Iain has been a solicitor for 30 years and is a specialist employment lawyer based in the Scottish Borders with more than 25 years as a Mental Health practitioner and over 15 years as a Convener of the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland.
