Innes is one of Scotland's most experienced and well known employment lawyers having specialised in employment law for nearly 25 years. He is an accredited specialist employment lawyer and is included in the elite 'Hall of Fame' list in the Legal 500 UK 2025 guide.

He advises clients on a wide range of employment matters and, according to Chambers and Partners, is able to see the same issue from multiple perspectives and pull complex advice into its most clearly understood format.

As well as providing advice to our clients, Innes lectures in employment law at the University of Edinburgh.
