Joe Boyd
Joe has been a fully qualified and practicing Solicitor in Scotland since 2011, having previously completed his legal studies at The University of Edinburgh.
He has extensive experience of appearing in the Scottish Courts and other Tribunal forums, in Criminal Defence, Civil Litigation, and Children’s Hearings cases.
He has acted in a number of high profile cases, and consistently achieves good results for his clients, due to the commitment, care and attention that he gives to his work.
Joe is also a former Solicitor member of the Regulatory Committee of The Law Society of Scotland. This role involved him taking decisions that set the standards, regulate and govern the legal profession in Scotland. Since then, he has acted as Convenor of two of the Law Society’s Regulatory Sub-Committees; the Professional Conduct Sub-Committee, which determines conduct complaints against Solicitors; and the Appeals and Reviews Sub-Committee, which hears appeals from decisions made by other Sub-Committees.
