Karen Manning

Karen is a partner in the Construction & Projects team at Burness Paull. Specialising in construction law, she is involved in a range of advisory work and has particular construction expertise in the education, housing, office, retail and leisure sectors.

Karen is head of the firm’s Building Safety Group and has advised clients on various building safety considerations as a result of the post Grenfell legislative changes.

She acts for a number of different type clients in both the private and public realm and also provides support to the wider firm on construction issues in property, funding and public/third sector transactions.

Karen has significant experience in the drafting and negotiation of relevant construction documentation including building contracts, consultant appointments and collateral warranties.
