Katy MacAskill

Katy is a senior associate in the Regulatory and Investigations team in Glasgow. Her main area of focus is contentious financial crime work. She regularly supports clients facing investigation for alleged regulatory breaches and corporate crime issues including fraud, money laundering, and bribery and corruption. She also regularly assists clients undertaking internal investigations, and regulatory risk and compliance reviews.

Katy is an experienced commercial litigator and has experience in both Court of Session and Sheriff Court actions. She has significant experience in acting for clients in complex civil matters, as well as criminal matters including regulatory health and safety prosecutions. Katy also has experience representing clients at Fatal Accident Inquiries and public inquiries.
