Lauren Wright

Principal
Lauren Wright Solicitors

Lauren started her training as a solicitor at Wink & Mackenzie in Elgin in 2011, where she later became a partner in 2018. Lauren's legal experience and knowledge extends to conveyancing (the legal process in buying/selling/transferring properties and land) and Private Client work which involves making Wills, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney for clients and also dealing with the administration of estates of those who have died (Executries). Lauren is also a Notary Public.

Lauren has a particular interest in digital assets and how the advancement of technology could and probably will affect the law of succession in the future and wrote an article for The Journal in 2019 - Cases of the Paperless Will.

She is also a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Trust and Succession Law sub-committee. The Society’s network of policy committees support the delivery of the Law Society’s strategy, particularly in influencing the creation of a fairer and more just society. This involves working to analyse and respond to proposed changes in the law, and to pursue improvements to the law and the Scottish and UK legal systems.

In Lauren's spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, running, socialising with friends, reading and going to comedy gigs. She is also a qualified Les Mills Body Combat instructor!
