Liz Campbell
Liz leads the team responsible for education, training and qualifications. This includes policy aspects of pre and post-qualification education and training; accreditation of providers of the components of the route to qualification; the registration and admission of trainee solicitors; the Society’s equality and diversity work; work with schools; engagement with students and trainee solicitors; and the development of qualifications to underpin new categories of affiliate membership. Liz started working at the Law Society of Scotland in 1990 in the Update department before moving to the education and training team where she was appointed Director in October 2000. She is a graduate of the University of East Anglia and of the Open University, where she obtained her MBA while working at the Society. Her previous work is in education administration and adult education.
