Lynne Kennedy MBE

Founder
Business Women Scotland and Business Women Connections

Lynne founded Business Women Scotland (BWS) in 2009 and Business Women Connections in 2022 to support women across Scotland and the UK through networking, mentoring and practical business support. BWS also run an awards programme, which includes the inaugural BWS Women in Law Awards to shine a spotlight on outstanding women who are driving innovation, leadership, and impact within the industry. She originally trained as an interior designer, and  began work in TV set design before progressing to edit Homes & Interiors Scotland magazine.  Lynne is passionate about championing women-led businesses, inspiring the next generation of female entrepreneurs, and creating opportunities for women to succeed. She was awarded an MBE in 2019 for services to women in business.
