Mark Cruickshank

Managing Legal Counsel (Outsourcing, Technology & IP)
Royal Bank of Scotland

Mark is Managing Legal Counsel in the Outsourcing, Technology & IP team at NatWest Group. Mark has a keen interest in wellbeing at work and creating a progressive working culture and has run several Failure Camps across the NatWest business. In his day job he advises on all contentious and commercial IP matters for NatWest Group including for Royal Bank of Scotland, Coutts and Ulster Bank. This principally focusses on innovation projects, Fintech and structural reform of the bank. He is accredited by the Law Society as a specialist in intellectual property law and sits on the Law Society of Scotland's Panel for Specialist Intellectual Property Law Accreditation and the Intellectual Property Law Sub-Committee. Mark is also Chair of the Licensing Executive Society in Scotland and a Board Member of Wikimedia UK.
