Michael Byrne

Michael is a member of the Legal Leadership Team at UserTesting, a leading SAAS provider in the experience research sector. He is responsible for managing the EMEA/ APAC Legal Team, as well as providing strategic, pragmatic advice to the business on commercial deals, data privacy matters, IP, property, employment law, dispute resolution, ESG issues and anything else that happens to cross his desk. Prior to joining UserTesting, Michael worked for a Fortune 100  Life Sciences multinational corporation (latterly as an Associate Corporate Counsel), where he was instrumental in the organisation's UK/ European COVID-19 response and negotiated/ closed deals with a cumulative value in excess of $2 billion USD. 

 

He has been a member of the Law Society's In-house Lawyers Committee since 2019 and from 2017 to 2022 he served on the board of directors of a charity, Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (SFAD).

 

In his spare time (when not running around after his two year old daughter), Michael enjoys cycling, hill walking and military history.
