Musab Hemsi

Partner and Accredited Specialist in both Employment and Discrimination Law
Anderson Strathern

Accredited as a specialist in employment law by both the W.S. Society and Law Society of Scotland, Musab is known for investing time to understand his clients with a genuine focus on generating demonstrable improvements and savings in his clients’ businesses. Musab is also a notary public, a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association and Chair of the Scottish Discrimination Lawyers Association. He regularly presents at Law Society of Scotland Conferences, debates and webinars, including the TCPD Programme and the New Partner Practice Management Course. 

Musab provides solutions and advice on a range of employment matters including – promoting equality in the workplace, managing trade union relations, consulting on the implications of business acquisitions and disposals, designing restructuring solutions, defending all types of tribunal claims and advising on executive severance (for both companies and individuals).  Musab has significant experience working with clients’ Human Resources teams. Musab quickly understands the issues in hand, their impact on his clients’ business, how they affect individual stakeholders and then works with his clients to deliver pragmatic, end-game focused solutions.  Musab has over a decade of experience as a specialist employment solicitor and is known for his innovative thinking, often finding ways to unlock organic wealth and build connections across his network of clients.

Musab is a proud father of two, enjoys most sports and travels extensively in the UK and abroad in his free time, sampling new cuisines and savouring his joie de vivre.
