Salvesen Mindroom Centre is a charity that champions all forms of neurodiversity and supports all kinds of minds. Mindroom’s purpose is to foster a deeper and more inclusive understanding of the diverse minds that make up our society. We raise awareness, promote acceptance, and actively contribute to the creation of a society where neurodiversity isn’t just acknowledged but truly valued. We achieve this through support, education, advocacy, and research.
Nelly is the Training Manager at Mindroom. Nelly has been working in the field of Neurodiversity for 10+ years and her background is in inclusive education. Nelly has also worked for Mindroom’s Family Support Service, supporting families with neurodivergent children and young people, offering direct support to parent and carers. Nelly’s passion for making the workplace more neuroinclusive has stemmed from the lived experiences of those people who she has supported, continues to support, academic interests and her own lived experience. Nelly is the lead for Mindroom’s Neurodiversity Training along with the flagship Neuroinclusion at Work Programme.
