Prior to qualifying as a social worker in 2012, Pamela worked in various roles in SACRO, including as a restorative justice practitioner. Following this, Pamela worked in a local authority youth justice team supporting the development of the Diversion from Prosecution and Early and Effective Intervention processes. Pamela’s role at CYCJ is as a Practice Development Advisor. She was previously responsible for the development of participation for those with lived experience and as the lead for the Improving Life Chances Implementation group. Currently, Pamela is focused on supporting the delivery of the Scottish Government’s Restorative Justice Action plan, specifically ensuring the rights and needs of children and young people are considered and met throughout.
