Rachael McLean

After starting my career at McGrigors in commercial litigation, I joined the Government Legal Service for Scotland (GLSS) in 2008, where I have subsequently worked in a variety of legal advisory roles in the Scottish Government Legal Directorate (SGLD).  Recently I have headed up our Legal Modernisation Unit, leading an ambitious programme to drive forward business critical improvement and modernisation work. I am currently SGLD’s Head of Strategy & Business Division.
