Scottish Water

Ramsay is currently employed as Managing Legal Counsel in Scottish Water’s legal team and is based in Perth, where he lives.

He holds a LLB degree from the University of Aberdeen and a LLM from the University of Strathclyde. He has worked for Scottish Water for over 15 years concentrating on commercial matters but more recently on regulatory aspects and acts as company secretary of a number of its subsidiary commercial companies. He is a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Technology Law and Practice committee and is currently on a part-time secondment with the Scottish Government helping to look at options to modernise legislation for the Scottish water sector.

He plans to retire on 30 June to watch more daytime television.
