Rebecca Scott

Interim Head of Legal Services
Clan Childlaw

Rebecca was enrolled as a solicitor in 2012, joined Clan in 2013 and was appointed as Interim Head of Legal Services in January 2025. She is an Accredited specialist in Child Law by the Law Society of Scotland and obtained an ILM in Leadership in 2020. Rebecca was a Safeguarder for 4 years and has been a member of the Scottish Legal Aid Boards Children’s Hearing Quality Assurance Committee since 2023.

 Rebecca works closely with the Head of Strategic Litigation and Head of Legal Policy in the achievement of Clan’s policy aims through our legal services including delivering our legal services including representation of children and young people, our legal helpline and delivering training.

Rebecca regularly represents children and young people in children’s hearings and the sheriff court.
