Richard Douglas-Home
Richard advises UK and international private clients and trustees on tax and succession planning. He has a particular focus on taxation issues affecting landed estates and rural businesses, as well as the use of companies, partnerships and other structures to achieve clients’ succession planning aims. He also deals with the preparation of wills and powers of attorney for clients and the establishment, administration and termination of trusts.
Richard is dual qualified in Scotland and England & Wales. He joined Macfarlanes LLP as a trainee solicitor in 2008 and then moved to Forsters LLP in 2015. He returned to Scotland in 2020 and joined Turcan Connell as a Senior Associate.
