Ruthven Gemmell trained at Brodies and spent his career at Murray Beith Murray specialising in all aspects of private client law and wealth management. He is qualified as a solicitor in Scotland and England and Wales and is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute. He is a past President of the Law Society of Scotland and of the Council of European Bars and Law Societies (CCBE) and is a Tribunal Judge in the First -tier Tax Tribunal and a legal member of the Upper Tribunal for Scotland.
