Ryan McCuaig

Ryan is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team at Anderson Strathern, specialising in complex construction and engineering disputes. 
 
Ryan is experienced in disputes under both standard form contracts (NEC, SBCC, JCT, LOGIC, etc.) and bespoke agreements in the construction, engineering, and energy sectors. He has acted for clients across the private and public sectors in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland, the Court of Session in Edinburgh, and the High Court in London. Ryan has significant experience in adjudication, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Outside of private practice, Ryan is trustee of a UK social mobility charity. He has been advocating for social mobility in the legal profession since his time at university and previously featured in the Law Society of Scotland's "One Profession, Many Journeys" diversity campaign alongside the then Law Society of Scotland President.

Ryan is dual qualified in Scotland and England and Wales.
