Sandra Leece

Sandra is the Director of Legal and Company Secretary for the Swedish energy company, Vattenfall in the UK. She has a team of lawyers and a data protection officer reporting to her, including secondees from law firms and other legal resourcing companies. Sandra and her team advise on legal issues, risks and strategy for all of the UK companies, including on and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, district heating, networks, green hydrogen and M&A. Sandra is also responsible for data protection matters and is a member of the crisis management team.

Sandra is accustomed to working in a dynamic environment leading, co-ordinating and prioritising the work of her team to meet the changing and challenging deadlines of multiple complex projects. This is reflected in the many industry awards and recognitions Sandra has received over the years, including top energy lawyer in the UK and one of the top 100 energy lawyers globally.
