Sarah Blair
Sarah has over 15 years’ experience in IT and has spent much of her time leading and transforming the firm’s IT capabilities.
Sarah specialises in developing and implementing IT strategies while delivering value to the firm through its investment in the latest legal technologies. She has a passion for business-led innovation, encouraging understanding, adoption and exploration of new technologies, but always with a focus on the problem that needs to be solved. She is passionate in a service design approach and has been awarded the Progressional Development Award in Service Design by the pioneering Service Design Academy.
During her time at Thorntons Sarah has has spearheaded a number of major change management campaigns to encourage adoption of new technology - Seeing IT as an enabler and only bringing value when it enables people to work better.
Sarah is a member of the firm’s Operational Board, Information Steering Committee and Research & Development Group as well as being the firm’s Information Security Manager.
Sarah is also a member of the LITIG group, the LawScotTech advisory board and the UKLTA Members Board.
