Sarah Blair

Sarah has 27 years' experience in legal services and is a recognised voice on AI adoption and engagement in the sector. She speaks, writes and advises on how law firms move from buying technology to actually using it.

As Chief Transformation Officer at Thorntons, Sarah led a firm-wide AI adoption programme supported by Innovate UK, alongside major change campaigns to embed new technology across the practice. She championed a service design approach to innovation and holds the Professional Development Award in Service Design from the Service Design Academy.

Sarah is Chair of the Law Society of Scotland's LawscotTech Advisory Board, where she works with the board to support the Accredited Legal Technologists scheme, and workstreams on AI and Education. She is passionate about shaping the education for the profession and broadening access to legal technology.
