Sarah Denman is an environment lawyer at ClientEarth, an environmental law NGO. She works on a range of environmental matters and conducts advocacy with industry and Government to improve environmental protections in the UK. In particular, she focuses on legislation made pursuant to Brexit, including promoting sustainable fisheries under the new Fisheries Act and strengthening environmental governance mechanisms under the Environment Bill currently going through Parliament.
She also sits on the Law Society of England and Wales Climate Change Working Group.
Before joining ClientEarth, Sarah was a financial regulatory lawyer at international law firm Allen & Overy LLP. She is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and holds a degree in Law and French Law from University College London (LLB) and a diploma in French law from Université Paris II (Panthéon-Assas).
