Sheriff Joan Kerr

Lead Sheriff for AWI Team

Sheriff Joan Kerr was appointed as sheriff at Glasgow in 2015. She is currently lead sheriff for AWI Team, Chair of AWI Working Group and Scottish Liaison Judge for Cross Border Protocol relating to Adults with Incapacity.

Sheriff Kerr had a long and varied career as a solicitor, specialising latterly in personal injury litigation, and was appointed as a Stipendiary Magistrate in 2008 and Part Time Sheriff in 2011.
