Stephanie Hepburn
Stephanie is a Partner in Shepherd and Wedderburn's litigation and dispute resolution team specialising in dispute resolution, primarily in the rural and private client sectors. Her practice has a particular focus on property disputes, including title conditions, public rights of responsible access (the right to roam), boundary disputes and nuisance claims. Stephanie has a particular interest in servitude law and prescriptive servitudes and was the instructing solicitor for the pursuer in one of the leading cases on prescriptive servitudes, Soulsby v Jones [2020] CSOH 103, 2021 SLT 286; [2021] CSIH 48, 2021 SLT 1259. She is also a specialist in crofting law, supporting clients active in the renewable sector as well as landowners.
