Stephen Farrell

Stephen is a director in the Dispute Resolution team and is a key member of our real estate litigation and sports law teams.  He is dual qualified in Scotland and in England & Wales.

He advises clients in both the public and private sectors on a wide range of contentious property issues, with particular experience in landlord and tenant disputes.  He also has experience in the telecommunications sector, acting for operators under the Communications Code.

In addition to real estate disputes, Stephen has experience in high-value commercial litigation and the provision of disciplinary advice.  As a member of our sports law team he provides dispute and regulatory advice to clients in the sports sector.

He conducts litigation in courts of all levels and is also regularly involved in arbitration, expert determination and mediation.

Stephen is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the British Association for Sport and Law.  He is also a tutor on the civil litigation course on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.

He is ranked by independent legal directory Legal 500 as a rising star in Sports Law and in Real Estate Litigation.
