Stephen Uphill

Steve joined the Law Society’s Senior Leadership team in September 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience in finance, operations and change management. Steve has held a number of senior positions in both the public and private sectors including universities, schools and colleges, business consultancies and the Scottish Government. A CIMA qualified accountant and accredited coach, Steve is responsible for the Society’s Human Resources, Finance, Governance, Facilities, IT and Business Intelligence teams.  Steve is also a Non-Executive Director, Advisory Board Member and a member of the Risk Management and Audit Committee at the Scottish Prison Service.
