Stuart Murdoch
Stuart Murdoch is a litigation lawyer who advises on highly complex national and international financial services disputes.
Stuart specialises in managing disputes and regulatory matters in the financial services sector. Earlier in his career, he worked as in-house counsel in the Litigation and Regulatory team of a leading international bank for several years.
Stuart is a trained mediator who frequently resolves high value and complex financial services disputes out of court. He is also a solicitor advocate (counsel) with an impressive track record in court where litigation proves necessary. He has extensive experience in M&A, shareholder, investment funds, pensions and commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Stuart also provides a full spectrum of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) regulatory support in corporate transactions and commercial arrangements. He supports clients across all major financial services sub-sectors including banking, life, pensions, asset management, general insurance, wealth, investment funds, fintech, platforms, private equity and professional services.
