Susie Tweedie

Senior Associate, Private Wealth & Tax
Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP

Susie is a Senior Associate in the Private Wealth & Tax team. She advises both individuals and families on a broad range of personal legal matters, specialising in estate planning and the creation and administration of trusts. Susie has extensive experience in managing estates on death with an emphasis on complex, high-net-worth estates and has a particular interest in complex inheritance tax matters and contentious executries.

As well as drafting Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, Susie also has considerable experience with advising family businesses on succession issues and has a keen interest in charity law. Susie is a Notary Public, a fully qualified member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and Deputy Chair of the STEP Scotland branch committee.
