Tim Taylor

Director
Hastings Legal

Tim Taylor, Director & Notary Public at Hastings Legal in the Scottish Borders. In addition to being a solicitor and business owner, Tim has two young children (3-years-old and 11-months-old) and a keen interest in health and wellbeing in the workplace. He is a former member of the Law Society’s Property and Land Law Reform Law Sub-Committee, has successfully completed the 2050 Climate Group's Young Leader Development Programme, and is the founder of Scottish Borders Young Professionals. Tim has written articles for the Law Society on topics such as mindfulness, avoiding burnout, networking, productivity, and the Scottish Standard Clauses. He has spoken at a Law Society Conveyancing Conference in 2018, published a Law Society article for International Men’s Day 2020, and has been a panellist for a Mental Health Awareness Week event in 2021. Tim is also a Careers Ambassador for the Law Society, and has been a Judge for the Donald Dewar Memorial Debating tournament.
